A round rotor electrical machine having 2 poles (2p-2) and 3 phases with a regular air-gap has
distributed windings and air gap MMF is sinusoidal. Stator windings (a,b, and c) are located at stator
with a 120° geometric difference. Self inductance of all windings are L, mutual inductances between
Phase a, b and c windings are Lab, Lac and L. There is only one winding on rotor with a constant self-
inductance of Le. Mutual inductances between rotor winding and a,b and c windings are as follows.

free.
Magnetic circuit is accepted to have no-loss. All winding resistances are neglected.
