A circuit design will be done for the amplifier stage of a
mechatronics system. This circuit has two stages.
First stage specifications:
Voltage divider with common emitter type, voltage gain:10,
npn transistor.
Second stage specifications:
Voltage divider with common emitter type, voltage gain:20,
npn transistor.
The connection between the two stages is provided by a 1:1
transformer. Power supplies are 12 Volts for the stages. It is
recommended that the element values are selected for
approximate analysis. npn transistors that is used are same.
Their beta values are 50. V=0.7 V. Other design criteria are
determined by designer. According to these design
consideration:
a. Draw the overall circuit.
b. In the middle band frequency region, draw r model of
this circuit.
c. Determine total voltage gain of overall circuit as
parametric.
d. Determine component values in accordance with design
criteria.
