3. Consider an infinitely long cylinder with cross-section of radius R₁ and made from a perfect conductor. The cylinder carries a steady current I. The conductive cylinder is embed-ded within a cylinder with same axis and made from a magnetic material (assumed to be isotropic, linear, and homogeneous) with permeability μ (cf. Fig. 4.3).
