A cyclone has a body diameter of 1.0 meter. For air flow rate at 150 m³/min at 70°C and 1 atm,
containing particles with a density of 1600 kg/m³ and a size distribution as given below, calculate
the overall collection efficiency for a conventional cyclone type 3 given by Lapple. Taking the
value of K as 15, calculate the cyclone pressure drop in kPa and the fluid power (kW) required to
operate the cyclone. (viscosity of air at 70°C and 1 atm is 0.02 CP)
