For the two degree-of-freedom system shown below, a) determine the EOM (equations of motion) and state-space format. Also write the state-space matrix form equations considering that the output is y=4 X1 V₂ K1 B2 M1 M2 f ww K2 B1 b) Write a Matlab code (and function) using integration technique to find the system response under the following conditions: I) Initial conditions: when t = 0, x 2 = 0, v=v2=x1=1. II) Time span: t = 0 to 15s. III) Consider M, M2=1, B1-B2=1, K1=K2=2, and f=0. c) Write a Matlab code using the "initial" command to find the system response, using the same conditions of part (b). d) Write a Matlab code using the "Isim" command and find the response. Use same parameter values of part (b) but consider the initial conditions to be all zero, and input is fa-sin(3t)-2cos(t) For parts (b) to (c) submit ALL Matlab codes and plots of K 1x1, and v2 (outputs) as functions of time, all on SEPARATE figures (overall, four plots). Correct labeling must be used for the horizontal and vertical axes.
