A series load resonant dc-dc converter uses a full bridge converter driving the series resonant load (rather
than a half bridge as described in the notes and shown in the Figure below). The resonant circuit uses a lμH
inductor and a 47nF capacitor. The capacitor on the output of the rectifier is 400uF and the load resistance
can be in the range from 1 to 42. The DC input voltage is 400V and the required output voltage across the
load resistance is 300V.
i)
Determine the range of switching frequencies required to supply the load at a constant voltage of
300V across the range of load resistances.

Calculate the peak voltage across the resonant capacitor and the peak current in the inductor
current. Assume worst case load conditions.
