A 440 V, 50 Hz, 6-pole, 50 Hz, Y-connected, three-phase induction motor has 2 2/phase stator
resistance and 2.4 2/phase rotor resistance at standstill. Equivalent reactance is 3.6 2/phase.
Construct an m-file plots the torque-slip characteristics for slip range (+2 to -1).
• From the curve determine the starting torque, and maximum torque.
Confirm using analytical solution the values of starting and maximum torque
-If the motor runs at 900 rpm while delivering 20 kW useful power and has mechanical losses of 0.5
kW. neglecting magnetizing branch.
