Task 1: Power Source Unit Implementation
You are asked to create a Power Source Unit (PSU) that can provide three different voltage
levels to power three different loads (a voltage divider like example 06-04c in lab sheet no2).
The specifications of the loads are given as follows:
1) 20V at 5mA load
2) 30V at 25mA load
3) 40V at 45mA load
The PSU is based on a voltage source of 150V, while the bleeder resistor needs to channel a
15mA current to the ground.
a) For each stage of the voltage divider calculate the respective resistance value.
b) Implement in simulink the desired PSU. Measure the voltage outputs of the PSU in
unloaded conditions. Note the results in a table.
c) Measure the desired voltage outputs in a loaded condition. Calculate the percentage
error between the desired voltage and the actual voltage outputs.
