Using the following unbalanced reaction to answer the questions below.
LiOH(aq)+ H3PO4 (aq)→ H2O(l) + Li3PO4(aq)
a. Balance the reaction. (2pts)
b. Calculate the AHxn using the table of enthalpy values found in the appendix of
your text book. (4pts)
c. 30.06mL of 0.1001M LIOH is mixed with 10.05mL of 0.1208M Phosphoric acid.
Determine the final temperature of this reaction if both the LiOH and H3PO4 are
initially at 25.0 °C before being mixed together. The heat capacity of the reaction
solution is 3.90 J/g C. The density of both Lithium Hydroxide and Phosphoric acid
can both be assumed to be 1.00g/mL. (6pts)
