CD is a straight road of length 12 Km. Car v1 starts from C with initial velocity (2.5 m/s) toword B
and accelerates by (0.06) m/s2 toward D Untill its velocity reaches to (62) Km/hr and remains
constant at this velocity. Car v2 starts from D (1) min before car v1 with initial velocity (10) Km/
hr and acceleration (0.05) m/s2 both toward C until it reaches a speed of (50) Km/hr and remains at
this speed. To avoid crash a sensor in v2 that give alarm when v1 is (250) m away from v2 then v2
will stop at the side of road and waits until v1 pass then it returns back to the road with same
acceleration.
I- How long car v2 will wait at the side of road.
li-v1 and v2 must stop at C and D. They must decelerate and stop with in 15 s at what distance from
end station each car must stop and if deceleration is const and must starts (10) s before stop, what
is value of decelerations.
A. Solve using a-t, v-t and s-t diagram
B-repeat solution using mathematical and physical relations and equation
C-Discuss advantage and disadvantage of each method
