Tasks:
a) Draw a graphical representation of this difference equation - use the Direct
Form II;
b) Find the transfer function H(z) of this filter;
c) Determine poles and zeros of H(z);
d) Construct a pole-zero plot in the z-plane for H(z);
e) Through the inspection of the pole-zero plot, determine whether this filter is
stable or not and justify your answer;
f) Using the pole-zero plot, sketch the frequency response H (e") on the
interval = 0..2;
g) If you had to choose one of the following options, which would be the best
description of this filter: (i) a lowpass, (ii) a highpass, (iii) a bandpass, (iv) a
bandstop, or (v) an allpass? Justify your answer.
