water to flow through its process coolers. The water
will leave the coolers at 45 °C. It is planned to cool the
water to 29°C for reuse by contact with air in a
cooling tower. The design conditions are as follows: M.

temperature. Makeup water (M) will come from a
well at 10°C, hardness 500 ppm dissolved solids. The
