transition will occur in the boundary layer.

Assuming the boundary layer is fully turbulent, calculate its thickness 8 at x = 1.0 m
from the leading edge.

If in the boundary layer the streamwise velocity varies with the 1/7th power law [i.e.,
u/U∞ = (y/6)17], calculate the difference between the stagnation pressure and the
static pressure at a location x = 1.0 m and y = 8/2, which can be measured using a
Pitot-static probe.
