C. The results for a laboratory compaction test done for a given soil to be used in the construction of an embankment is shown in Table 2. After compaction of the soil is completed in the field, sand cone tests (control tests) were conducted at five separate locations and the results displayed in Table 3. The specifications require that: a. Dry density (Ya) must be at least 0.95 Yo(max) b. Moisture content (w) should be within ±2% of optimum water content (Wopt)- Conduct the necessary quantitative analysis to determine if the control tests adhere to the specifications.
