Determine the overall mass transfer capacity coefficient Kya by the use of the numerical or
graphical integration and determine the diameter if the tower is packed with 1 inch Berl Saddles
and the gas pressure drop within the packing is limited to 300 N/m³ of packing. The gas enters
the tower with an average molecular weight of 180 and viscosity of 3 X 103 Pa.s and a specific
gravity of 0.81.
