Resistance tests of a 1/16 scaled down ship model have been carried out in Ata Nutku Ship Model Testing Laboratory and the total resistance of the model was measured as 4.84 N at a speed of 1.50 m/s. The same model with its mirror (double-model) was attached to a wind tunnel and the total resistance was measured as 80 N at the corresponding speed. Calculate the corresponding speed in the wind tunnel and the effective power of the ship at the corresponding ship speed. The ship model had L-4 m length and S-2 m² wetted surface area. In the towing tank, PM 1000 kg/m³ and v-1.139x10 m²/s. In the wind tunnel, pair 1.2 kg/m³ and Vair 1.19x10 m²/s. In sea-water, ps 1025 kg/m³ and v-1.188x10 m²/s.
