c) Find the cycle time for one production cycle based on given information below:
Load time of each truck is about 75 seconds. Once the truck starts to haul the excavated
material, it goes 16.70 km with an average speed of about 40Km/hour. The time required for
dumping is about 0.40 min. Returning distance is 33.4 Km and empty truck can drive back
faster to first location with speed of 60 km/hr. There is about 0.02 min. of unavoidable delay
in average on each cycle. (1 Km/hr. - 16.70 m/min.), (Job Efficiency = 0.90)
d) Can this job be done if we have totally 45 trucks in our company and the time is limited to
60 working days? (Each working day is 10 hours)
